DJ I.Q and flip capella stay in the music business for more than 15 years now. DJ I.Q. started dj-ing in 1989, in 1992 he passed his exam for audio and sound engineering successfully. Since then he turned out to one of austria..s most succesful djs and producers (boriqua tribez). Flip capella began his dj-career in 1996, 3 years later he got to vienna..s most successful private radio-station NRJ. He is also one of the most requested djs in Austria and since January 2008 he hosts the special house-show “Energy Club Files” together with tim Anderson (www.clubfiles.at). In 2001 DJ I.Q. and flip capella met each other in a recordstore discovering the same interests for fuckin.. good house-music. After celebrating several dj-performances together it was clear lectrostar became one of the hottest acts behind the turntables. After big success on the dancefloors they also decided making music together on the mutual house-project called “lectrostar” in 2006. first success was their remix for trick & kubic “easy” on great stuff records in 2007. The same year afterwards they were asked to do a remix for the life-ball-anthem “get a life”. In october 2008 they start “club files rec. DIGITAL” for releasing their own music.
